Riedel Champagne Glass

The Champagne Glass is designed to accentuate the complex characteristics of champagne. Its unique shape allows for a wide range of aromatics to unfold, unlike the narrow flute. The egg-shaped design of the glass enables the intricate layers of flavor to develop and intensify, while the larger rim diameter facilitates the release of these aromas in a way that is not achievable with a narrower glass. Additionally, the glass features a "sparkling point" to aid in the formation of the champagne's signature bubbles.

As part of the Performance series, this Champagne Glass shape was re-developed in 2018. This glass is ideal for enjoying light, fresh, and dry champagnes, proseccos, and other sparkling wines. The product is crafted from clear crystal glass.

RIEDEL Performance is the first-ever wine glass series to feature bowls with a light optic impact, which enhances the aromatics. Co-designed by Georg and Maximilian Riedel, the RIEDEL Performance collection is a technologically advanced and user-friendly set of grape-specific glasses.

This Champagne Glass is a premium machine-made item. The advantage of a machine-blown RIEDEL glass over a hand-made one lies in the precision of its construction. The glass is also dishwasher safe, making it a convenient and practical choice. This pack contains two pieces of the Champagne Glass.
